Great Grandparents

Wesley's son, William Fletcher Hall and Phoebe Elizabeth Ross were married in Wapello, Louisa County, Iowa on 5 Jan 1867. Phoebe had been born on 25 Mar 1849 in Concord, Clermont, Ohio.

They stayed in the area for eighteen years and had five children. Then sometime between 1885 and 1900 they moved 540 miles west to Curtis, Frontier County, Nebraska. They lived there until her death on 24 Dec 1915 and his death in Jan 1918. They were both interred in the Curtis Cemetery. His sister, Dora Estella, also died there in 1915, and his brother, Sidney, in 1924.

William Fletcher Hall and Phoebe Elizabeth Ross had the following children:

1. Rosetta Irena Hall was born on 28 Dec 1867 in Winfield, Henry County, IA. She died on 24 Nov 1876 of Diphtheria in Louisa County, Iowa.

2. Ada Tesora Hall was born on 05 Oct 1869 in Henry County, Iowa. She died on 19 Jun 1898 in LaJunta, CO.

3. David Wesley Hall was born on 24 Mar 1875 in Pleasant, Appanoose, Iowa. He married Eleanor Josephine Gyles on 30 Sep 1897 in Curtis, Frontier, Nebraska. He died on 22 Aug 1945.

4. John Martin Irwin Hall was born on 06 Sep 1878 in Columbus City, Louisa, Iowa. He married Theresa Josephine Weil on 20 Sep 1898 in Lincoln Precinct of Curtis, Frontier County, Nebraska. He died on 06 Feb 1942.

5. Dora Estella Hall was born on 15 Dec 1881 in Mount Union, Henry County, IA. She died at 13 years of age from Immaturity on 15 Jul 1895 in Frontier County, Nebraska.
