Elizabeth “Betsey” Kellums was born on 16 Oct 1803 in Kentucky. She died on 09 Nov 1875 in Sonora, Atchison County, Missouri. (Buried: Sonora Cemetery, Watson, Atchison Co, MO Find A Grave Memorial# 43442324)

John W. Hall and Elizabeth “Betsey” Kellums were married on 19 Feb 1818 in Orange Co, Indiana. They had the following children:

1. Louisa J. Hall was born on 13 Jun 1819 in Indiana. She died on 03 Oct 1909 in         Belvidere, Thayer, Nebraska.

2.Wesley Hall was born on 11 Dec 1820 in Indiana. He died of old age on 04 Jan 1912 in Columbus City, Louisa, Iowa. in his daughter's home at 91 years of age. His body was interred 6 January 1912 Columbus City Cemetery, Louisa, Iowa. 


3. Ransom Hall was born on 29 Jan 1823 in Dubois Co, Indiana. He died on 12 Jul 1861 in Selby, Bureau, Illinois.

4. Charlton Hall was born in Jan 1831 in Bureau County, Spring Valley, Illinois.

5. Mary Melinda Hall was born on 25 Jul 1835 in Bureau County, Bureau, Illinois. She died on 13 Jul 1909 in Watson, Atchison, Missouri.

6. Sylvester Hall was born on 31 Oct 1837 in Princeton, Bureau, Illinois. He died on 11 Apr 1918 in Watson, Atchison, Missouri.

7. Irena Marina Hall was born on 09 Dec 1841 in Bureau County, Illinois. She died on 02 Oct 1897 in Atchison, Missouri..

8. Elijah Hall was born on 23 Sep 1843 in Bureau County, Bureau, Illinois. He died on 10 Oct 1895 in Atchison, Missouri.

Sylvester, Mary Melinda, Irena Marina, Elijah, and Elisha all moved Atchison county, Missouri, with their father and mother. Louisa moved to Nebraska. Ransom, John Nelson, and Sarah Ann stayed in Bureau County. I don’t have any information on Charlton, William Harvey, and Rebecca.

Wesley Hall married Elizabeth Jones in Bureau County, Illinois, on 16 April 1840. Elizabeth was born 13 March 1822 in Green, Adams County, Ohio. They moved to Iowa in 1845.
